UNIS Business Team at the First Aerospace & Defense Meetings Brno

Last week, our business team attended the first edition of Aerospace & Defense Meetings Brno, held on 16–17 September 2026 at the Brno Exhibition Centre.

This was the first edition of the event organised in the Czech Republic. It attracted approximately 500 participants representing 200 companies from 18 countries, with around 3,000 pre-scheduled business meetings taking place over the two days. The event brought together representatives of major industrial companies, specialised suppliers, technology firms, institutions and research organisations active in the aerospace, space and defence sectors.

ADM Brno was not designed as a traditional trade fair. Its main focus was a structured programme of pre-arranged B2B meetings, allowing participants to connect directly with companies relevant to their business and technological interests.

This targeted format was what we appreciated most about the event. The meetings brought together relevant partners from the same or closely related industries, allowing us to use our time efficiently and productively. We had the opportunity to present our expertise in the development and production of control systems, discuss specific opportunities for cooperation and establish contacts with interesting potential customers as well as prospective suppliers.

The business programme was complemented by expert conferences and panel discussions addressing current topics such as the future of the defence industry, unmanned and autonomous systems, sustainable aviation and opportunities for Czech companies in the space sector.

Our participation in ADM Brno provided us with two days of valuable discussions, new contacts and promising business opportunities. We would like to thank everyone who met with us during the event, and we look forward to continuing the discussions and developing new partnerships.
