E018 Control Unit

The E018 is a dual-channel control unit developed for managing the D-18T series 3M/3A engine. It provides full control of the engine across all operating modes and continuously monitors its condition and functions.


As part of the engine’s automatic control system, the E018 performs the following functions:


  • Measurement of all inputs (analog and discrete)
  • Control of all outputs (analog and discrete)
  • Communication
  • Fuel flow control
  • Variable stator vane angle control
  • Engine start sequence
  • Engine control in all operating modes
  • Parameter limitation (shaft speed, exhaust gas temperature, etc.)
  • Diagnostics
  • Overspeed protection
  • Compressor surge detection


The unit is designed for a wide range of cargo and commercial aircraft.

E452 Control Unit

The E452 is a dual-channel modular control system designed for AI450-S, AI451-S2, and BE2/BE2+ engines. It consists of the following components:


  • 2 × ECU0 control units
  • 1 × EMM0 monitoring unit
  • 1 × VMM0 vibration monitoring module
  • 1 × CON0 connector module


Each module operates as an independent functional unit, making the system a distributed architecture. In the event of a module failure, the affected component can be replaced without impacting the operation of the remaining system.


The E452 provides full dual-channel engine control and enables communication with onboard systems via I/O, ARINC 429 protocol, and service diagnostics through an ETHERNET interface.
