Testing

UNIS company, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and the European Regional Development Fund, has established its own Science and Technology Park (VTP) where, besides offices and production space for rent, a canteen on the premises and wide range of other services, provides testing laboratories equipped with the latest advanced technologies for the EMC testing as well as climatic testing and testing of mechanical durability.
We also provide HALT / HASS tests. The tests respond to RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 standards.

The tests mentioned above are intended for:
  • airborne equipment components
  • automotive components
  • products for military applications
  • applications in industry, research and development, medicine and even special home appliances with relevant certification of mechanical durability, EMC testing, as well as climatic testing

EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility) – “the ability of the equipment to operate without interfering with other equipment” – laboratory conducts the following tests:
  • interference, i.e. level of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the tested appliance
  • mechanical resistance tests (electromagnetic field, voltage and current pulses, magnetic field, etc.)

EMC laboratory is equipped with:
  • semi-anechoic chamber for measurement of radiated emissions at 1 m and 3 m distance
  • equipment for conducted emissions measurement
  • equipment for measurement of radiated susceptibility in electromagnetic field with intensity of up to 200 V/m in frequency range from 80 MHz to 18 GHz
  • ESD simulator for immunity testing up to 30 kV
  • system for measurement of conducted susceptibility in frequency range from 10 kHz to 400 MHz
  • system for testing immunity to fast transient bursts, surge and voltage dips and interruptions

Mechanical resistance tests laboratory provides:
  • vibration tests – sine, random, sine on random, random on random
  • shocks
  • resonance determination
  • vibration tests in combination with climatic conditions (temperature, humidity)

Mechanical resistance tests laboratory is equipped with:
  • electrodynamic vibration device TIRAvib 59335/ AIT-440 with slip table TGT MOH 36 XL (COMBO): nominal force: sine 35 kN (peak), random 32 kN (rms), shocks of up to 105 kN (peak)
  • max. acceleration: sine 100 g, random 67 g, shocks 207 g
  • max. static load 610 kg
  • shaker armature diameter 440 mm

  • climatic chamber ACS DY1450 C ESS VT for combined vibration-climatic tests: temperature range from -70°C to 180°C

Climatic tests laboratory provides:
  • climatic tests – temperature, humidity

  • climatic chamber ACS DY500 C ESS 15 SPEEDY with high temperature change rate: temperature range from -70°C to 180°C,
  • humidity range from 10 % to 98 % r. h.
  • temperature change rate 15 K/min
  • test space dimensions 850 mm (width) x 580 mm (depth) x 890 mm (height)
  • thermal shock chamber ACS CST320 2T: test space volume 320 l
  • basket dimensions 700 mm (width) x 700 mm (depth) x 650 mm (height)
  • maximum loading capacity 50 kg
  • hot chamber temperature range from +50°C to +220°C
  • cold chamber temperature range from -80°C to +60°C
  • basket transfer time < 10 s
